• Lubricates -WD-40 will not oxidize and cause delicate mechanisms to gum as will normal lubricants. It keeps lubricating quality at all temperatures, even in freezing weather.
• Penetrates -WD-40 is used to free binding and corrosion frozen parts. It is ideal for use on close tolerance fittings. There is no more effective penetrant on the market.
• Displaces moisture -WD-40 displaces moisture and has a “drying out” effect. It is particularly useful for application on electrical apparatus, ignition systems, generators and electric motors. It inhibits moisture condensation and further wetting.
• Prevents rust/corrosion – WD-40 stops rust and corrosion. It deposits its inhibitors within the metal. Light rust and corrosion can be wiped off within minutes after application.
